The Mennonite Historical Society of Saskatchewan (MHSS) goals are to conserve, educate and celebrate Mennonite history, culture and religion in Saskatchewan, Canada and around the world.
We actively work to:

foster a greater understanding and awareness of Mennonites,
sponsor programs and events which proclaim our history and culture,
provide expert assistance to individuals and groups in a variety of areas
like local or family history, genealogy and religious study,
bring together people interested in sharing, research, preservation,
promotion and advancement of the history of Saskatchewan Mennonites
issue a variety of publications including Saskatchewan Mennonite Historian,
an Occasional Papers series, books and pamphlets.

We encourage everyone who supports the goals of the Mennonite Historical Society of Saskatchewan to become members.
MHSS now has our complete Cemeteries database on this site: Cemeteries. It contains names in about 210 cemeteries, although volunteers and friends sometimes notify us of more that have been found. (We are no longer on the RootsWeb site).
If you should wish to really dig into Mennonite History - especially in a large and growing database of photos and original documents, you will want to come more familiar with MAID (Mennonite Archival Information Database) at archives.mhsc.ca.
We invite your requests for assistance or information, compliments, comments and questions. Expressions regarding any material or links that appear on this website will receive suitable attention and response; contact us.
