Plautdietsch in Russia
Differences in the vocabulary of the two groups also often attributed to the two colonies:
- Chortitza: “Heiwen met bleiwe Meiwen un mi dann scheen vereiwen.”
- Molochnaya: “Haue met blaue Maue un mi dann scheen vereiwe.”
- (‘Chop / mow with blue sleeves and then have a nice rest.’)
