This House Barn located at the River Valley Museum in Hague, Sask. The house barn was originally built by Rev. Johann P Wall and was in the village of Hochfeld, northwest of Hague.

Welcome to the Mennonite Historical Society of Saskatchewan

The Mennonite Historical Society of Saskatchewan (MHSS) goals are to conserve, educate and celebrate Mennonite history, culture and religion in Saskatchewan, Canada and around the world.

We actively work to:
-collect and preserve historical records,
-foster a greater understanding and awareness of Mennonites,
-sponsor programs and events which proclaim our history and culture,
-provide expert assistance to individuals and groups in a variety of areas like local or family history, genealogy and religious study,
-bring together people interested in sharing, research, preservation, promotion and advancement of the history of Saskatchewan Mennonites
-issue a variety of publications including Saskatchewan Mennonite Historian, an Occasional Papers series, books and pamphlets.
