Welcome to the Mennonite
Historical Society
of Saskatchewan (MHSS)

The Mennonite Historical Society of Saskatchewan (MHSS) goals are to conserve, educate and celebrate Mennonite history, culture and religion in Saskatchewan, Canada and around the world.

We actively work to:
historical records collect and preserve historical records,
Mennonites foster a greater understanding and awareness of Mennonites,
programs and events sponsor programs and events which proclaim our history and culture,
family history, genealogy provide expert assistance to individuals and groups in a variety of areas like local or family history, genealogy and religious study,
history of Saskatchewan Mennonites bring together people interested in sharing, research, preservation, promotion and advancement of the history of Saskatchewan Mennonites
Saskatchewan Mennonite Historian issue a variety of publications including Saskatchewan Mennonite Historian, an Occasional Papers series, books and pamphlets.

We encourage everyone who supports the goals of the Mennonite Historical Society of Saskatchewan to become members.

MHSS administers the Saskatchewan Mennonite Cemetery Finding Aid which list the names of persons buried in a number of Mennonite cemeteries in Saskatchewan.
